Coach collaborates with celebrated graffiti artists Mikhail Sokovikov and Jason Aaron Wall of Mint + Serf in this special collection that captures the raw, dynamic energy of New York City. An unforgettable design, our Ruby satchel has an iconic rounded shape and an elongated zipper that opens wide for easy access to the interior. Crafted of buttery soft glovetanned leather and natural pebble leather featuring a bold motif from the rebel artists’ compositions with an embroidered accent, the compact 18 has multifunction pockets for great organization. Carry by the drop-down luggage handles or attach the comfortable wide crossbody strap for hands-free styling.
About the Creatives: Artists Mikhail Sokovikov (aka, Mint) and Jason Aaron Wall (aka, Serf) met as teenagers in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, and started using the streets of New York as their canvas. Believing that the beauty of graffiti lies in its illicit aggressiveness and nonconformity, they produce impromptu dynamic compositions that channel the inherent tension and defiant grit of the artform—and the city they call home.
The capsule collection features paintings from Mint + Serf's seminal series, Support, Therapy and Instability (2012-2016) created at The Broadway Chapter in collaboration with Christopher Johnson, Pablo Power, and the PPP!
