In this special collection, Coach collaborates with the estate of artist Richard Bernstein combining our bold New York attitude with his unique works of pop art and portraiture. Crafted of a soft cotton-blend, this classic-fit crewneck sweatshirt features a graphic of Bernstein’s mesmerizing 1988 portrait of actor Michael J. Fox celebrating his dramatic role in the film Bright Lights, Big City. Using pastels to create an ethereal glow, it was created from a Philip Dixon photograph.
About the Creative: Influenced by a sense of whimsy, the New York-born artist Richard Bernstein is widely known for his distinctive illustrated covers of Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine, the seminal celebrity chronicle of the social, fashion and art crowd. Exhibited today in the collections of museums around the world, his striking artwork defines the electric glamour of the 1970s and 80s.
