Nothing normal about it: the Coachtopia Wavy Dinky is a shoulder bag with a mission to move us beyond the linear fashion system, putting a new, wavy spin on an archival Coach silhouette from 1973. Wear it as a shoulder bag with one of our detachable, partially recycled acrylic plastic chain straps, or as a crossbody with its longer leather strap. This version comes in smooth Coachtopia leather (crafted with at least 50% recycled leather fibers from scraps). It harnesses the creativity of Coachtopia’s global community, featuring trippy artwork from New York-based designer Sabrina Lau.

This product’s Coachtopia Leather is crafted with at least 50% recycled leather scraps that might otherwise have been sent to landfill. By reimagining materials that already exist, it delivers the premium look, feel and texture of a Coach leather product, but with a carbon reduction of at least 60% compared to new, virgin leather. Quite a step up from garbage, right?

Resin, reimagined

The multi-colored recycled resin used in this product is made from at least 70% recycled plastic, which is sorted by color and then turned into new products with one-of-a-kind patterns and colors. By finding a new use for waste that otherwise might have been sent to landfill, this resin has a 18% lower carbon footprint than new plastic.

Edgy stuff

This product’s Upcrafted binding is ingeniously patchworked from the high-quality, but small and irregular leather scraps that are left over after we cut our bag patterns from leather hides. By finding a new use for materials that already exist and might otherwise have been sent to landfill, Upcrafted leathers deliver a beautiful artisanal look while helping us to avoid the creation of new materials.

This Coachtopia product comes with a unique digital passport that holds not only details of its materials, design and impacts, but is able capture its unique life story, which will continue to evolve as it is used and reused on its circular journey. Love it!
This is the cutest purse. I am obsessed with the wavy dinky bag. I wish they used the large turn clasp closure more often on other styles because it is so much more secure than the magnetic closures. This is a cute size. I would buy it in a larger size if available in a different color.

Must Have Purse
I never thought I’d be a “purse girl” growing up but ironically became one. I tend to buy coach purses in different colors and styles this being my most recent purchase. It is a great everyday purse and have received so many compliments on it’s unique design especially the strap. Absolutely love this purse and highly recommend
