Slouchy meets scrappy: this everyday shoulder bag is ingeniously upcrafted from the soft leather scraps left over after a Coach Tabby Bag has been cut from a leather hide. Large enough to fit a tablet, it features a roomy interior compartment (complete with a slip pocket), zip-top closure and an adjustable strap for both shoulder and crossbody wear.

This product is part of our Alter/Ego Collection, a new range of bags crafted with the specific leather scraps left over from the creation of iconic Coach styles—including the Tabby, Hampton and Brooklyn bags—that might otherwise have gone to landfill. With this collection, we’re going beyond making with waste by finding ways to design out waste, as part of our ongoing mission to build a more circular future for fashion.

It’s beautifully crafted ! The only thing is that this cannot be an everyday bag ! As careful as you can be it’ll wear the bag a little bit but I’m still happy with it. ! Bring back the multi colored checkered one I need it.

love, love this bag! i get so many compliments. i added the red double cherry charm to it to give some pop of color. would love to see the multi color checkered bag come back. my only negative is that the leather on the bottom corners are already wearing off.

Patchy Perfection!
This bag is amazing! I waited almost 3 months for it to restock. It restocked in the middle of the night and some FB friends tagged me on the restocking alert. This bag is nostalgic, iconic and just beautiful! The different patchwork colors remind me of the 70's and the recycling is a nod to today's world. It literally works with every outfit I put on. If Coach made a patchwork demin mini rowan to match, I would jump on it. The hang tag chain got loose and lost the first time I wore it, just a warning to watch it. Luckily I found mine in my car. But yes, I would purchase this bag over and over again and it was well worth the 3 months waiting on it.

Love this checkered bag. It is very spacious. It comes with a long strap to be worn as a crossbody, which is a bonus. I prefer the shorter strap but I love to have options. I will say the leather is very soft and probably isn’t practical for everyday. Or maybe I’m just rough on bags. This is a must buy. I added a cute bow charm that is black and has white pearls.
