This product’s Coachtopia Leather is crafted with at least 50% recycled leather scraps that might otherwise have been sent to landfill. By reimagining materials that already exist, it delivers the premium look, feel and texture of a Coach leather product, but with a carbon reduction of at least 60% compared to new, virgin leather. Quite a step up from garbage, right?

Towards nothing new

In addition to its Coachtopia leather exterior, we’ve thought about every part of this product—from its thread to its hangtags to its hardware—in order to prioritize recycled, repurposed and renewable alternatives instead of new, virgin materials. Both its shell and supple leather lining are made with Coachtopia Leather—crafted from at least 50% high quality leather scraps. Its thread is 100% recycled polyester and its hardware is partially made from 70% recycled industrial plastic waste. Even the labels stitched inside are made from 100% recycled nylon.

This Coachtopia product comes with a unique digital passport that holds not only details of its materials, design and impacts, but is able capture its unique life story, which will continue to evolve as it is used and reused on its circular journey. I purchased this for my teenage daughter who does not like to draw attention to herself but she takes pride and making the simple things in life catch the attention of everyone. She loves this purse and it begin as a Sunday purse but after all of the compliments it's now an everyday affair.

So cute and so mini. I love the size of this bag for just the essentials. ID, credit card, money, lip balm, etc. I would love to see more colors in this style. Coach almost never misses with cross body bags.

So cute, SO SMALL
This is such a cute bag but it really is TINY. My phone doesn't even fit in it, which is my mistake for not checking out the measurements, but I do wish this was slightly larger. The shape and style of the bag also make it really hard to get things in and out of it.
