Cassie Crossbody Bag 19 In Signature Canvas

Such a beautiful versatile bag

Recently bought for my daughter who moved to NYC. I wanted her to have the iconic leather OG bag made right in NYC, a Couch bag! (Maybe no longer made in the city but it started out in NYC). Its her first shoulder bag as she's a crossbody girl- but now she can have both with this versatile bag. So far she's very happy wearing it crossbody & on her shoulder with the chain. She couldn't decide between the Waverly, Juliet, Sage and this Cassie 19 -all in black. The Sage is not in stores or on their site, came out early this year but I found it on Amazon. It's a box bag style but the leather is very stiff, so its hard to get the phone out of the back pocket. It's a great style but she had trouble fitting all her essentials in it eventho this Cassie is smaller- it fit her essentials. This bag is definitely the heaviest between the 4, but she didn't care about that. The Juliet is super light and the chain too, while the Cassie bag's chain is very heavy. The leather is soft (for a structured bag) which she likes as she keeps her phone in the back pocket- it's easy to get to. The textured leather will wear well as it shouldn't show scratches easily. The turn thingy was a bit more interesting of a closure than a zipper (and a couch signature) and her name begins with a C, so that's how we narrowed it down. It was a hard decision as there are many great Couch bags!

This bag is so versatile! It is worth every penny in my opinion. It is made extremely well. I don’t think I will be able to ever kill this bag. If you are on the fence about purchasing it, just do it!
