Forbes “Best Employers for Diversity”

In 2019, our parent company Tapestry was named on Forbes’ 2020 “Best Employers for Diversity” list for the third consecutive year. The rankings were created from a survey of 60,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees on issues of diversity, including leadership roles, communication and company culture. LGBTQ+ Equality

For the seventh consecutive year, Tapestry achieved a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index’s “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality in 2020.”

This score is based on corporate policies and practices pertinent to the LGBTQ+ community, including coverage for gender reassignment surgery and treatment.

Inclusion Councils

Established in North America in May 2019 and in Europe in September 2019, our Tapestry Inclusion Councils guide our inclusion and diversity strategic roadmap, with a goal of encouraging our teams to share, learn and speak up to create positive change.

Our Pledges

UN Women’s Empowerment Principles

On International Women’s Day 2019, Tapestry signed the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles Charter, reaffirming our commitment to gender equality and the empowerment of women in the workplace. Learn more about the charter here.

Open to All

In September 2019, Tapestry, along with over 50 fashion brands, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and the CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion, signed the Open to All pledge in support of its vision that “when a business opens its doors to the public, it should be open to all.” Led by Tapestry, the pledge is a promise to foster inclusivity and protect equality for customers, employees, and their communities. Supporting Our LGBTQ+ Workers

In 2019, Tapestry, along with 206 corporations, signed a landmark amicus brief filed in the U.S. Supreme Court in support of the rights of its LGBTQ+ workers and their protection from discrimination under existing civil rights laws.
